キルギス・オシュ国立大学代表団が東京医科歯科大学を訪問/Representatives from Osh State University, Kyrgyzstan Visited Tokyo Medical and Dental University

キルギスのオシュ国立大学、クダイベルディ・コジョベコフ学長を含む代表団が、3月28日と29日に東京医科歯科大学を訪問しました。オシュ国立大学は、キルギスの第二位の都市オシュにある、中央アジアで主要な大学のひとつです。
初日の朝、代表団は統合教育機構 副機構長 高田教授から、Health Sciences Leadership Program（HSLP）に関して、説明を受けしました。
その後、医学部長である東田教授の案内で東京医科歯科大学病院の検査部を見学しました。
午後は、救急災害医学の森下教授から本学の救急の体制について紹介を受け、救命救急センターを見学しました。
その後、副理事（臨床教育担当）の山脇教授、医学科長の秋田教授らと本学の卒前・卒後医学教育についてディスカッションを行いました。初日の最後には、ハイリスク感染症研究マネジメント学分野武内教授よりBSL3ユニットについて説明を受けました。
2日目には、代表団はスキルスラボ実習室を訪れ、金子准教授がスキルスラボで提供している革新的な機器の紹介を受けました。
その後、内田理事・副学長と藤井病院長との懇談では、在日キルギス共和国大使館からゲストも参加され、今後の協力について話し合いました。
後半には、山口准教授と中川准教授による本学の多職種連携教育の取り組みの紹介があり、臨床現場での多職種連携の重要性についてディスカッションを行いました。
その後、東京医科歯科大学病院の集中治療室（ICU）を見学しました。
最後に、本学の修士課程グローバルヘルスリーダー養成 (MPH) コースの学生たちが、キルギスの大気汚染対策に関するプロジェクト案を発表し、代表団よりフィードバックがありました。
訪問を振り返り、オシュ国立大学の国際医学部の学部長であるロマン・カルマトヴィッチ教授は、「私たちはこの訪問に非常に満足しております。日本の多職種連携の試みや病棟への専任薬剤師の配置などキルギスにまだない試みもあり、大変勉強になりました。また、最後の学生の発表にも大変満足しています。また、東京医科歯科大学からの代表団にもいつかオシュ国立大学に訪問していただきたいと思います。」とコメントされました。

On March 28th and 29th, representatives from Osh State University in Kyrgyzstan, led by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, visited Tokyo Medical and Dental University, aimed at fostering partnerships and knowledge exchange in the field of medical education and research. Osh State University is one of the leading public universities in Central Asia, located in Osh, the second largest city in the country.
On the first day morning, the representatives met with Professor Takada, Acting Director, Institute of Education, who provided an overview of the Health Sciences Leadership Program. After that, Professor Tohda, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, led a tour of the Tokyo Medical and Dental University hospital’s clinical laboratory.
In the afternoon, Professor Morishita of the Department of Acute Critical Care and Disaster Medicine introduced the emergency care of the hospital and representatives explored the Trauma and Acute Critical Care Medical Center. After that, the representatives had a meeting with Professor Yamawaki, Deputy Director of Clinical Education and Professor Akita, Dean of the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences and exchanged perspectives on pre- and post-graduate medical education system at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. At the end of the first day, Professor Takeuchi explained about the Biosafety Laboratory Unit (BSL3).
On the second day, the representatives visited the Clinical Skills Laboratory, where Associate Professor Kaneko introduced the innovative instruments offered. Subsequent meeting with Professor Uchida, the Executive Vice President of the University and Professor Fuji, the Director of the University Hospital was joined by guests from the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan to discuss the possible future collaborations. Later in that day, the Associate Professors Nakagawa and Yamaguchi explained about the Interprofessional Education underscoring the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in modern healthcare delivery. After that, the representatives explored the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the university hospital. As the last agenda of the trip, Master of Public Health in Global Health students presented their projects on air pollution control in Kyrgyzstan to the representatives who offered comments acknowledging the relevance of presentations to their home country.
Reflecting on the visit, Professor Roman Kalmatov, Dean of the International Medical Faculty at Osh State University, commented “We learned a lot from the attempts at Interprofessional Education and the placement of full-time pharmacists in hospital wards, some of which are not yet available in Kyrgyzstan. We were also very satisfied with the students’ presentations. We would also like to invite representatives from Tokyo Medical and Dental University to visit Osh State University some days.”
